McCallum Print Group and Mailhandlers Obtain FSC Chain of Custody Certification

Certification demonstrates Renewed Commitment to the Community and Environment

Seattle, Washington – October 25, 2006 – Seattle-based McCallum Print Group and Mailhandlers, DirectConnectGroup partner companies, are proud to announce that they have acquired the Chain-of-Custody Certification from the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). The FSC is an international network dedicated to promoting responsible management of the world’s forests. FSC brings people together to find solutions to the problems created by bad forestry practices and to reward good forest management.

What is Chain-of-Custody Certification and why is it important?

Chain-of-Custody is the path taken by raw materials, processed materials and products, from the forest to the consumer, including all successive stages of processing, transformation, manufacturing and distribution. Through FSC Chain-of-Custody Certification, McCallum Print Group and Mailhandlers will further demonstrate their commitment to environmentally and socially responsible forest management. FSC Certification allows McCallum Print Group and Mailhandlers to label all products meeting FSC criteria with FSC trademarks.
